Don't believe for a minute that having a good web host isn't vital to your online business. If you get cheap web hosts, downtime can destroy your profits. You must do your research to find a web host carefully before making a contract with a hosting company There are many companies out there and they all have varying degrees of service. Before you make your decision in what hosting company your will use, look over these points: Reliable: Your host simply has to be reliable. You cannot afford to have downtime. You lose sales if people can't count on you. Really check out the web hosting company you want to use, reviewing their service completely before signing up. Ask what kind of servers they use and how reliable they are. If there are any testimonials look at them and see that they are authentic. Good customer support: If you have problems technically at any time, you need to know you have excellent support from your web hosting service. Monthly contract: Ensure you sign only on a monthly basis and not for 6 months or more, and that you won't be penalized for canceling at any time. Set up fee: Don't sign up if there is a set up fee. If your hosting service really appreciates your business with them, they won't charge you for set up. Backing up files: Does your new host back up files and how often? It is very important to back up files and good if your host does this as well. FTP access: This is a useful feature that some web hosts offer. This will allow you to upload your site whenever you have any changes or additions to your website. A good number of email addresses: Ensure the host you pick has enough email addresses for your business. You may need many or just a few, but your host should be able to supply you with what you need. Bandwidth (traffic) allowed: If your host has 5GB of bandwidth, this should work for you. You should know how much you will be provided with. Extra services: Look into what the price includes. Everything should be plain and laid out clearly as to what you will pay. Price: You may pay varying prices for your web host, like between $5.95-$19.95. You should research the services offered compared to the price, which can be between $5.95-$19.95. It isn't always a bad sign to only be charged a low fee. It depends what you need. Cpanel: is a useful feature, and simple to use. This will let you manage your web hosting from one place and has features like web stats and web mail. Make sure your host has a fast connection: Make sure you will have a host with a fast connection or your visitors who only have dial-up will have trouble. When your visitors only have dial up they will still have better speed if your host has fast connecting powers. This will make a lot of difference to the loading time of your site. Knowing these points will enable you to know the best web hosting company for you.

This morning, I was contemplating the question of how many ezines (electronic magazines) were currently in circulation. So, I tried to do a bit of detective work. * Newsletter Access (http://www.newsletteraccess.com/) has nearly 10,000 ezines listed in their database. * PubList.com shows 150k in their database. * The ISSN (International Standard Serial Number) database has so far registered more than one million periodicals, many of those being in the electronic format. (http://www.issn.org/) No matter which set of numbers you follow, there are a lot of ezines competing with your ezine for the same set of readers. With so much competition in the marketplace for ezine subscribers, it is imperative for us to learn how to develop a loyal following among our own subscribers. In this article, I examine a three ezines that are excelling in the marketplace and building a large and loyal following of readers. I will also look at three reasons why these three e-zines are doing so well. The Electronic Newsletters That We Will Review... 1. Travel by Vasrue Weekly E-Magazine (http://travel.vasrue.com/newsletter/index.html) 2. Your Membership (http://www.yourmembership.net/) 3. SiteProNews (http://www.sitepronews.com/) Original And Exclusive Content All three of these electronic newsletters utilize original content at one level or another. * Travel by Vasrue uses only exclusive, original, travel content in their E-Magazine. * The Your Membership newsletter, owned by AEO Publishing, Inc., provides a section of their newsletter for webmasters to submit websites for review, and then they print some of those reviews for their readers to consider. They also allow individuals to submit questions, and then they print the best answers submitted by their readers. * SiteProNews, owned by Jayde Online, Inc., utilizes a lot of first-run, original content written by members of their staff, including articles written by Jim Hedger and Mel Strocen. Some of this content can be seen in other publications later, but you will always see it in SiteProNews first. Exclusive content allows your ezine to stand far above all of your competitors. While free reprint articles (like this one) are a good source of information, most of your competitors rely solely on other people to create the content for their newsletters. For most readers, this is not a big deal, except when the particular article used may have been read in competing ezines previously. Readers tend to favor ezines that utilize exclusive or first-run content in their issues. A Winning Formula Successful ezines always have a specific format and formula for their publications. * Travel by Vasrue focuses on giving their readers specific information that they can use to make good travel decisions. They also provide specific information regarding a choice of vacation options within the context of their currently discussed travel destination. * The Your Membership newsletter focuses on offering their readers an opportunity to ask questions and to have those questions answered by other readers who have the knowledge to share. * SiteProNews prefers to provide content that will point you to third-party resources that are related to the current topic. Once an ezine has found their winning formula, that formula will become their trademark. They Understand Their Readers If you do not understand what your readers want from your newsletter, you will never be able to develop a profitable mailing list. * Travel by Vasrue doesn't leave it to chance. They ask their readers what destinations they would be interested to find specific information. Then they deliver exactly what their readers have asked to receive. * The Your Membership newsletter is offered on a dozen or so websites that cater specifically to the needs of webmasters who are looking to develop a commercially viable website. While the source of the subscription pretty much defines what their readers want to see in the newsletter, the fact that they rely on the Q&A process to fill their issues helps them to select articles that would be of real interest to their readers. * SiteProNews is offered to the people who use Jayde Online's many free webmaster tools. Their newsletter caters to the needs of those commercial webmasters who are already utilizing their free tools. In Conclusion... Successful ezines are those that are willing to cater to the specific needs of their readers, and then they deliver their information in a consistent format. Successful ezines are also those that are willing to invest the extra time, effort and money into creating one-of-a-kind, original content for their readers to voraciously consume. While those reprint articles are often very informative, I am sure that you hate it when you see the same article appear in a number of the ezines that you read. A once-in-a-while repeat article is all well and good, but if one ezine is consistently following in the footsteps of another ezine you read, then why would you want to keep reading the second? The Your Membership newsletter has shown us that utilizing mostly reprint articles can prove successful, when you are willing to mix some other kinds of exclusive content with the free reprint articles. SiteProNews has shown us that you can be successful when you are willing to mix original, first-run articles with reprint articles. By following the lead of those who have been successful before you, you might just find that you can build your mailing list to be a very profitable aspect of your overall enterprise. It is my hope that this free reprint article has given you some food for thought as to how to follow in the steps of those before you.

Working out what your niche market will be to start your home business is something that can elicit much excitement. This is when you can put all those great ideas you have had for your business into a plan of action. Give yourself a number of options to work over. Some will be great and some won't fit. Get more than one so you always have a back up when you start a home business. Look to 3 sources for ideas: * A hobby you love: You won't find many hobbies from which you can't build a business. And since you enjoy doing it, it won't be tedious to "go to work" every day. When you pick something for your business that you sincerely like, you will have fun at doing it. * Your experiences: In life we go though many experiences and you can use these to build a business. For example if you have raised children you can then put all your parenting experience together and start a business related to parenting. * Your talents: Everyone has one or more talents within them. Dig down and see what yours are. You can start a freelance business using your talents. Defining your niche market: 1. List out some ideas then put them in the order of what you like the best. 2. Go to the site listed here and put a key word into the overture suggestion tool box: This will bring up the amount of searches that have been done for your keyword and will represent demand. 3. If you search out that same key word on Google search engine http://google.com then you will see websites supplying that item and you will know how many competitors are out there that will be competing with you when you start a home business. 4. If you find a topic that is demanded in quantity but low in the suppliers, you will then make money. This should be your special market for which you do your niche marketing. You will make more money with a niche market as you will reduce and sometimes even eliminate competition. Go through your list of ideas until you narrow it down to about 5. Then go through them again and see which one will fit into a niche market. Establishing your USP: Once you have found the concept that fits into a specialized or niche market it is time to establish your USP, Unique, Selling, Point. This is when you will take your idea, and see how you will make your business uniquely different from your competitors. Often neglected, finding the USP is something that new business owners need to do to set their item above the competition. Online businesses are very competitive and you have to stay ahead of the game. There are two reasons you need to set yourself up as different from others: 1. Get ahead of your competitors 2. To clearly define to your potential customers why your product and service is better than your competitors. Deciding on your business model: Part of your business concept will not only be consolidating your ideas but also choosing your business model. There are a few that you can choose from: * Affiliate marketing-Getting involved with affiliate programs will target your efforts * Network marketing (MLM)- again this will target your market and idea. * Marketing-taking the product and selling it * Service- you should use your talents, which includes freelancing. You can see there are a number of things you will have to do to get your business concept into operation. But it's worth it to plan and take care in developing it. It will be your foundation, after all.

You Can Sell on eBay Too

When I first began to consider starting my own website I considered selling on eBay because I had read so many articles on it. You see advertisements on the internet about making $11,000 a month selling on eBay. I could never understand how the people found the products to sell, allowing for such big profits. I finally discovered how it was done, and now that I know how I feel silly for not figuring it out sooner. The secret is DROP SHIPPING.
There are wholesalers all over the country that will ship products to your customers once you make a sale. There is a lot that goes into finding a drop shipper however. First, you need to find one that sells the products you are interested in selling. Then you need to narrow those down to find the legitimate companies and weed out the companies looking to scam people, and you know they are out there. You should try and find one that offers excellent service because they reflect directly on you as a seller. Your customers will not know it is not you shipping the product, unless you tell them of course. Some of the companies charge you drop shipping fees to deliver the product so you will obviously want to find one that does not charge these fees.
If you do a Google search for drop shippers the first couple of pages pull up a bunch of sites that offer many of the same products for similar prices. In some case the products they offer are pretty close to regular retail prices on the internet. So, how do you find the right drop shipping company? In my search to answer this question I found a site that has done all the research for you: http://www.myaffiliateprogram.com/u/worldwid/t.asp?id=12379
Worldwide Brands is a site focused on researching and bringing quality, reputable drop shippers to its visitors. I bought the plan for $69.95 that allows you access all the results of their research. Their site allows you to search by product type, drop shippers names, and brand name. If you know the name of a drop shipper you want to research you can do it with this site. If you want to sell a specific product you can find all the drop shippers offering that product. If you want to sell a specific name brand this site will show you all the drop shippers selling that brand. The site also tells you what type of payments the company accepts and if they charge a drop shipping fee. Because there are too many companies out there that are not credible if you are considering this type of work-from-home business you might seriously consider spending $69.95 to eliminate some of the risk of joining up with the wrong drop shipper.
I have also come across a company I personally like very much, http://www.dropship-business.com/index.html?aid=138719. Dropship Design offers some features I have not seen yet. They provide you with a website that you can name and design how you want it. They will provide you with 35,000 products to sell. You can also add other products on their site. So, if you are working with more than one drop shipping company, which most people do, you can put their products on this site as well. Most drop shippers require you to sell a product on your site and then pay them and they will ship the product. Dropship Design handles everything and they will deposit your profits into your Paypal account. You literally need to do nothing once you set up your site and set your prices.
If you have considered an eBay selling business or even selling retail on a site of your own these are two excellent resources to make that happen for you

Affiliate Marketing allows you to make money online by hosting an ad or content designed to drive traffic to another site (the advertiser).
Affiliate programs are a great way to get started in online business. You promote them via a web site, blog, email or cost per click advertising such as Google Adwords. The top online Affiliate marketers make a great living from this and there are thousands who make a decent amount of extra cash each month.
There are some companies that have their own Affiliate programs but many rely on a Affiliate Networks such as Commision Junction to manage things for them.
Basically, being an Affiliate earns you commission by reselling other companies products or services. The transaction and payment is handled by the Affiliate Network. You don't have to develop a product, stock inventory, deal with orders, shipping and/or customer complaints. All you need to do is get people to click on your affiliate link.
An Affiliate link will usually be a unique code you add to a URL link to the merchants web site. This code tells the merchant that the visitor has come from you. If someone clicks on this link and purchases the product you will get a percentage of the overall price paid to you as a commission. The percentage can vary from single figure percentages to over 70%.
When someone follows your link to a product page they don't necessarily have to purchase the product first time for you to earn money. In many cases a 'Cookie' is saved on the prospective customers machine. A cookie is a file which in this instance tells the merchant that it was you that first attracted the customer to the site. These cookies are valid for a period of time after the customer first uses your link. This depends on the merchant / affiliate network and can be as long as one year. If the product is purchased in this time period you get the commission even if the customer subsequently goes directly to the merchants site.
Some Affiliates programs have 'tiers'. In this instance not only do you get a commission on any sales you refer but if someone you refer sells the product themselves you get a commission of these sales.
Some programs have recurring commissions. These reward you for the lifetime of the customer. Not only do you earn commissions from the initial sale, but you'll continue to earn a recurring commission as long as that customer remains active.
An example of a recurring commission would be where there is a membership fee involved. Not only would you earn commission when the customer signs up but you would earn further commission every time that customer renewed their subscription. You would get paid for as long as that customer was active.
I hope you're getting the idea now that promoting other peoples products can be extremely profitable!!
As stated above Affiliate marketing is where you can promote another company's service or product and make a commission on every sale or lead. Your job is to drive traffic (customers) to your affiliate link.
There are Affiliate programs for every area and you will be able to find several that fit your interests.
Affiliate programs offer a low cost and risk free way to make serious money. The reason affiliate programs are so great is that you only need to focus on marketing. All the rest is looked after by the network or merchant.
If you’re looking for a low risk way to start making money online Affiliate marketing is as good a place to start. It gives you the potential to make great money with no (or little) financial outlay by yourself.

If you have just put up a website, you probably all ready have heard words like: keywords, Google Adwords,GoogleAdsense, SEO. Adwords, Adsense, SEO have one thing in common – Keywords. How important are keywords? Very Important.
Google Adwords
Adwords, be it through Google, Miva, or any pay-per-click search engines, you need keywords. With Adwords, you create a three-line ad – 25 word title, with two 35 word lines of ad copy – then you create your keywords. To get the hits, you have to brainstorm for different keywords, that are different but relevant to your target audience. Sound easy? It’s not. It takes time, patience, constant tweaking, and hoping that the product you are selling is not already saturated -- to much competition, makes it a little more difficult for the novice to make a profit.
Google Adsense
Google Adsense is an advertising program created by Google, and which is beginning to be explored by other search engines, such as Yahoo and MSN – that allows you to put targeted ads on your website. If someone clicks on the ad, you earn a small amount of money. These ads are keyword driven and are relevant to your webpage or website.
Sounds simple? Well, not really. There is more too it than just putting an ad on your website and expecting someone to click on it. What’s involved? Let’s see – color, position, style, to name just a few.
SEO
Search engine optimization – this for me has been a time-consuming process – since I am still learning. SEO is keyword driven – the search engines pull the keywords from your web copy – not, to my surprise, from the meta keywords tag. Granted, I still use the meta keywords tag, but maybe in the near future, I will slowly eliminate the tag from my webpages…
The search engines do, however, pull information from Meta Description, Meta Title, and the content of your webpages. Thus, content does reign supreme. Since content reigns supreme, each page should contain useful content and most importantly, your most relevant keywords that you want to emphasize. Secondly, it is best to try and base your keywords around a central theme. I have found that when the keywords diverts away from the main theme – that sends a red flag to search engines. So, if you want to look at your keywords and the density of the keywords on your webpage or webpages – You can get a quick rundown at: http://www.ranks.nl/tools/spider.html . It’s a free tool, and very helpful.
To conclude, keywords is one of the main ingredients that leads people to your website, product, service and/or ad. …AND, keywords based around your quality content will help with your positioning on your website

Many websites will post ads that say something like " Huggies vs. Pampers, take this survey and get a $500 gift card". That is not a paid survey! If you read the terms of that type of offer it will tell you that you need to join their sponsor offers and trials to receive the reward.
What is a Real Paid Survey ?
A real paid survey is conducted by a legitimate market research firm. The market research firm is hired by a company to gather information about a certain product or advertisement. An example of this would be:
A major cell phone company wants to change their logo and slogan and wants to see which one of their ideas has the most appeal to the public. They hire Luth Research to conduct a study of people 18 - 35 in major cities who own a cell phone. Luth Research then sends a survey to their online panelists via their online paid surveys division, Survey Savvy. They may send the survey to 10,000 people. Each of those 10,000 people are paid $5 to answer questions about the way they feel about the advertisement, which logo and slogan they think is best and why. The survey takes about 15 minutes to complete and the panelist is mailed a check a few weeks after the study is complete.
Where Can I Find a Legitimate Source For Paid Surveys ?
There are hundreds of paid survey panels that you can join that are legitimate and do exactly what Survey Savvy does. The problem is finding a resource for paid surveys that actually promotes real paid surveys. There are sites where you can pay a fee of up to $60.00 just to get a list of legitimate paid survey panels. These sites are taking advantage of the fact that most people don't know that the same information is available free all over the internet. You can try searching any of the major search engines like MSN.com for a Free Paid Surveys Directory. This will bring up several sites that actually have everything a paid membership site has but is totally FREE.
What are the Best Paid Surveys
From my experience the best paid survey panels you can join are Greenfield Online, Opinion Outpost, Survey Savvy, Lightspeed Research, and NFO My Survey. All of those can be found on any free paid surveys directory or by searching a site like MSN.com for the "Top 20 Paid Survey Panels"
When starting out in paid surveys it is best to at least join the top 20 paid survey panels. Each panel will not send paid surveys everyday. Some may send a survey once a month, while others may send you 5 a week. It all depends on who they need and when they need them. So the obvious thing to do is join as many as possible. That way you are almost guaranteed to receive at least one paid survey a day. Sometimes more.

There are thousands of online auctions on the internet. People love them because they can usually find great bargains. If you have an online business, you can use them to increase traffic to your web site.
You could create an electronic book or report that relates to your online business, then auction it off at an online auction. You could increase traffic to your web site by placing an ad for your web site in the electronic publication. Some online auctions will even allow you to link directly to your web site.
Electronic publications won't cost you anything to ship. You could send them via e-mail or allow people to download the electronic publication from your web site. You can also auction them off for a lower price. When they visit your web site you could offer them a higher priced product.
You could also get traffic from people who don't bid or don't get the winning bid. You could direct them to your web site to download and read a free sample of the ebook or report before they bid. If they want more detailed information about the ebook or report, you could also direct them to your web site.
You can also get traffic to your web site by auctioning a physical product. Print your web site advertisement on a flyer or brochure then insert it into each product package you ship.
Before you start auctioning any product at an online auction, read the terms and conditions. Some auctions may not allow the auctioning of electronic products or directly linking to your web site where you have other products for sale.

For a long time I have been a member of several search engine optimization forums and I have recently noticed that the stress level of many webmasters has gone way up (this is especially true since Yahoo and MSN have decided to seriously try their hand at competing with Google in the search marketplace). This applies not only to webmasters involved in Internet-based home businesses, but to webmasters in general.
Additionally, it seems that many people that are in the business of search engine optimization (SEO) are, with good reason, going completely bonkers. As Google came on the scene in 1998 and quickly dominated the search business, website optimization became largely a game of shooting at a single target, namely, pleasing Google...for all intents and purposes, Google became the "800 pound gorilla" of the search engine business.
Since the advent of search engines (particularly Google) spawned the whole SEO business, I guess its only fair that the search engine industry can once again turn the SEO business on its ear, and it seems now to be sort of a cat and mouse (not desktop) relationship that can get really interesting as we move forward.
Not only are there now several viable players (most notably Google, Yahoo, Microsoft and Ask Jeeves) in the search engine business, but they are all adopting different and frequently changing algorithms for determining the ranking positions for websites.
The current game is that webmasters are trying to figure out how the various search engines perform the rankings and, on the flip side, the search engines are striving to be unpredictable to those webmasters and SEO firms.
For those people using websites to promote a home based business, it can be stressful constantly trying to determine "what the search engines want" and agonizing over every downward fluctuation in rankings that their website may experience.
Looking forward in time, I think we can expect that rankings will fluctuate frequently and will not be at all consistent from one search engine to another. It will be quite common that for a particular search term a website might suffer a drop in position ranking for search engine "A" and an increase position ranking for search engine "B" at essentially the same point in time.
Rather than stressing out over every position ranking "wiggle", a better approach might be to just focus on "what do visitors to my site want?". The search engines are striving to give their users a quality (relevant) search experience and if you are focused in giving visitors to your website what they are looking for, these paths will meet somewhere down the road.
You can save yourself alot of consternation by focusing upon the needs of the website visitors you are seeking to attract, rather than chasing the frequently changing ranking algorithms of several search engines. Focus on a single target instead of chasing several moving targets at the same time.
This article pertains to natural searches only, as paid search engine advertising is a completely different situation.

Years ago when Jeff Alderson released Traffic Equalizer, it sent a shockwave through the search engine marketing industry. Alderson transformed what, at the time, was an arduous, piecemeal task into a smooth continuous operation. Many people at the time made a lot of money. Since then, Traffic Equalizer has fallen into disfavor as search engines have come out hard against this type of online marketing. It's clear that no one can expect to use Traffic Equalizer "out of the box" anymore. Its templates are well-known by the search engines and using them "as is" is a recipe for disaster. Also, Traffic Equalizer's internal keyword generation tool, to my mind, is so slow and balky that you're better off just skipping it. But I still like Traffic Equalizer. Any search engine marketer worth his or her weight instinctively knows how to throw together a simple HTML page. That's all you have to do to "fuzzy-up" the internal templates and make them unrecognizable to the search engines. In fact, I just ignore the templates now and make my Traffic Equalizer templates from scratch in a WYSIWYG program such as FrontPage. Next, I release far less pages than search engine marketers used to do in the past. There are legends of 10,000 pages being released at a time. No one does that anymore. Start with 100 pages, then slowly trickle out 25 pages every week or so. This gives the search engines the idea that this is a valid site. For an indepth review of Traffic Equalizer, as well as a tutorial, check out TrueReviewer's Traffic Equalizer site at http://www.TrueReviewer.com

Don't Read This!

I got the headline from a public domain book I have just compiled into a pdf file and placed on my server for free download and it was written by P.T. Barnum the famous American showman entitled "The Art Of Money Getting". In it he details how he once walked down the street past some shops and noticed a large sign hanging from the awning and it simply said in very large letters: "Don't Read The Other Side!" He noticed there was a group of people on the other side of the sign looking up and reading 'The Other Side'!
What do you have to do to get noticed in business? If you run a web business, how do you get noticed by potential customers and, importantly, the search engine robots?
You've probably tried advertising, and link exchanges, and even writing articles. Even chatting on forums to make out you're an 'expert' in your field.
It still is not enough is it?
You really need to network yourself all over the web to get traffic to your site.
Let me explain. Search engine's seem to be giving less credence to link exchanges, therefore it does not seem to be the way to go for the future.
Why not instead swap articles with each other, it gives more 'content' than a link any day?
What you can do is place all the articles you receive on a separate page, thereby building more 'content' and at the same time, other web site owners are placing your articles on their site.
Subject of articles must be 'relevant' to the theme of each others sites, for example, if you sell paperback books, you want sites very similar to your own to publish your article, and you do the same for them.
Start with the link exchange partners to exchange articles with, and network from there. I am sure they will agree that it is an improvement on just link swapping.
When you have placed articles on your web site, make it known that these articles can be published in ezines, web sites, or online newspapers as long as the 'resource box' is left in. It is a slow, but sure process of networking that you and all the web site owners who publish your article will be indulging in, but in the long run will lead to more traffic to your site. Every web site owner who participates in this idea of swapping articles instead of links, should extol the virtues of 'article swapping' on a page on their web site to encourage others to join in.
Much like at the moment there are any number of 'opt-in' mailing list builders schemes going the rounds on the internet, you could always start your own similar scheme, but with article swapping being the currency of the day.
Search engine's will find more link-backs to your site with 'relevant' content, the 'click-thru' rate will increase as people stop by a web site with your article on, leading inevitably to higher search engine ranking, and much more traffic to your site.
I am just about to implement this idea for my own site and exchange articles with like-minded sites. This idea could soon take off and grow to really large proportions that any web site owner is going to be very busy indeed dealing with all the requests, but it is a necessary requirement that as a web site owner you find the time to do this, otherwise the fast travelling engine you are on is going to stop.
It may occasionally and at determined intervals, be necessary to change articles for something new, this could be a requirement of the scheme that one new article is submitted each and every month and changed for the old one, this would eliminate 'staleness' not only to online shoppers but also to the search engine's.
It's been my experience that once a web site has been put up, the site owners think there is nothing more to do, they don't realise that 'staleness' to the search engine's leads to lower and yet lower rankings, therefore it is imperative to change content on a web site frequently.

A few days ago I was surfing the Internet doing some relevant research work for the newsletter. As I clicked through endless website pages that seemed alike, I had to constantly look up at the website address bar to make sure I was not stuck on the same site. Seeking relevant information to post-up for our subscribers, I felt somewhat bored and dissatisfied. Everything appeared and seemed the same. Nothing was new or exciting. At that point I glanced at my wall calendar and looked at the year, it read 2006. The next day, I recalled my frustrated journey online involving searching for information. I realized that my psyche was not happy with the framework of the World Wide Web. I sat at my desk and paused awhile, I allowed my mind to drift off thinking about super-nerds, geeks, computer techs, computer engineers, software designers, and the movers and shakers of the Internet world. What were they doing today? The scene that came directly to my mind was a selective team of Hi-tech yuppies, maybe about twenty-five of them. They had just sat down at a round cherry inlaid conference table. The wooden table was huge, water glasses and a yellow pad of paper was at each seat. The atmosphere was relaxed and causal. One interesting fact that stood out was the look on each of their faces. Their faces reflected their definite determination. This was an arranged rendezvous of the Super-Masterminds of the World Wide Web. Their Agenda- Take it to the next level, It's time. Finally a door opened, a young man about thirty two years old entered the meeting room. The man was well dressed in an expensive suit, and portraying a let's get it done attitude. Everyone sitting at the wooden table began to pick up their pens and started writing something down on those yellow pads. What were they writing down? -The Year 2037- In the year 2037 the World Wide Web has become a new favorable experience. First, computers as we understood them are now called "C-Pods". A C-Pod does not even come close to resembling your old desktop monster. C-Pods have a shape of being 1/4 inch thick, 8 inches wide, and 14 inches long. The top surface is somewhat transparent plastic material, supported by four 1/4 inch round titanium legs, being 3 inches long. The C-Pod looks like a coffee table for mice. The plastic like top surface has been engineered to replace all the circuit boards, hard drives, memory chips, DVD players and power drives which we once became familiar with. Inside the 1/4 inch thick plastic is where your computer now resides. Inside is the complex core of the system where the Meta Drives are stored. A Meta Drive is a device that uses Meta Materials. Meta Materials are objects that gain their electromagnetic material properties from their structure rather than inheriting them directly from the materials that they are composed of. The Meta drives work in conjunction with electromagnetic waves combined with photon crystals (a subatomic particle that is a quantum of electromagnetic energy, including light). The two systematically will be linked with each other and will substantially improve computing strength and stealth. Data will be stored inside encrypted air packets and transmitted via electromagnetic wave beams. Transmission of electronic data from one computer to another will be direct, no networking hubs to deal with. To make this materialize; beam steerers will be applied in an advanced system to utilize RF frequency modulation to deliver the data, no hard wires whatsoever. The Transmission rates of master data will become immediate and secure. Hackers will be out of business. All data’s transmitted will be stored in sealed encrypted air packets, and transmitted by electromagnetic waves, then trapped by end users. C-Pod encrypted receivers will only be authorized to acquire air packets at their authorized docker platforms. Software will also advance to new levels. The new C-Pod technology has brought new challenges to Software masterminds. All data must travel at the speed of light and faster. Software will be stored in Nano chips and will utilize Meta material and advanced laser technology to travel from Meta drives to Pod Dockers. All software will be user encrypted to be only received and viewed by authorized receivers and Dockers. Software programs will be trimmed of all fat to deliver the ultimate performance and reliability. Software programs will contain complete user friendly support. Concierge assistants will be an integral part of the Software Pod. There will be no need to source help from outside representatives because the software Pod Concierge will be present to directly answer all your how-to relevant inquiries, plus dutifully explain every significant function of the software to assure the end user renders the absolute best results from their software acquisition. Software companies now will have to meet a rating level of 900 stars out of a possible 1000 stars to even be considered as a respectful representative of software. The competition will become intense amongst this field. Customer satisfaction will become the number one priority to stay afloat. C-Pods will contain Docker home workstations. Dockers receive and transmit air packets of master data from server docker stations from through-out the world. All Dockers will store Meta materials and become proprietary to that system. All C-Pods will give first class priority to interactivity by users. Interactivity will become instant, and will not breakup, or cause interruptions in transmissions. Gaming, video, and data will all be viewed in a Helio format. Helio is the technology of projecting images within a column of air. Columns of air are projected 18 inches tall and 24 inches wide. Viewing resolutions will exceed 12,500 dots per inch. All presentations will be in full 3-D format. No head visors or glasses will be needed to experience breath taking programming. Helio technology is now the ultimate experience. The Helio column of air will be suspended above your C-Pod 4 inches. No wires, plugs, or cables will be attached. Air packets will also be used to transmit electromagnetic waves from your C-Pod to the Helio receiver projector. These waves will also be encrypted with user identifications to secure the system from tampering or hacking. Helio systems will additionally provide the system user a projected keyboard to any location within a 8 foot range from the C-Pod. The keyboard is also a projected light image in which colors, themes, lights, keypad style, location, and touch feel can be programmed to the user’s likings. Here again, the Helio keyboard projector will contain a docker which can be upgraded to add calculators, ultra sound wave players, and all your servant commands. The servant command section of the keyboard is where you will launch, upgrade, change, delete, survey, and command your docker station, surfboards, fetch pads, and your concierge services. All businesses will be using Helio 360 degree conference viewing theaters. Helio card readers can be transmitted to any worldwide C-Pod docker station. With encrypted authentication contained within air packets, stealth security is never a problem. Deals and formal contracts will instantly be closed with secured Helio touch pads using defense type coding systems. Cobra air packets will have the highest secret coding system ever developed for civilian use. The Cobra air packet system will essentially combine with the Meta materials program. As we discussed earlier, Meta materials. (Meta Materials are entities that gain their electromagnetic material properties from their structure rather than inheriting them directly from the materials that they are composed of). If any of these assigned structures are tampered with or invaded without Cobra screening approvals, the invader of the air packet will be disclosed. Within a Nano second of the security violation, Cobra with send out an electro-magnetic defense wave, and immediately nullify the invaders C-Pod transmitter. Surfboards will become an essential part of your Docker system. Surfboards will provide you with the means to browse the Internet. All Surfboards will store user ID cards containing encrypted data and user information. The ID cards are called PIC's (personal identity coders). This is the location that will store all pertinent data regarding the user and their preferences. Fetch Pad Dockers, will become the cutting edge when it comes to searching for pertinent data. Fetch Pads are programmed by the user to retrieve the most relevant data available that best matches your request. When programmed, the Fetch Pad searches all possible sources for the data available on the Internet that the user has requested. Fetch Pads will contain their own algorithm systems installed that can be programmed by the user. No second party interference, biases, or advertisements will be involved or allowed. Concierge Dockers. This Docker will become your personal Internet servant. Your personal requests can be preloaded at your convenience and upgraded at any time. Concierge Dockers will constantly be searching the Internet seeking all pertinent and relevant information that meets your desires and demands that you have submitted. The data that the docker had obtained during missions will be stored in libraries that are contained in your Meta drives for instant access. The Concierge Docker also contains an invaluable program called the Mentor. Yes, this is your personal mentor that is built-in to your C-Pod. The Mentor, through an algorithm software program will be able to decipher all external data plus compare the demands and traits that are contained by the user. The Mentor will guide, assist, educate, evaluate, decide, and conclude the best paths for you to take to accomplish your goals. Similar to today's matchmaker website's, the Mentor will also use the most sophisticated programs to match one's intelligence level, desirability to succeed, persistence of user, and the current competitive environment surrounding the user final goal. The Mentor with each Docker will also provide PAQ's (personal achievement qualifiers) to the individual user status and transmitting Docker. The PAQ's are the most important factor to one's credibility on the Internet. PAQ's ratings are attached to every air packet of data that will be transmitted over the Internet. PAQ's will internally assign a star rating to each user. The highest rating will be 500 stars. Rating stars will be determined by Universal Internet Laws. The criteria to determine your ratings will mainly consist of the user's credibility, performance to achievements, personal goals (business, pleasure, or education), and usage (public or private). Contained within every Docker will also reside a Meta Materials Operations Manager (MOM). MOM's will become the fiduciary task force that will govern all Internet operations. All PAQ's will contain fully encrypted ratings, credentials, authenticity certificates, and user ID's. MOM's will screen PAQ's to select right of passage, and also provide proper directions to final C-Pod Dockers. Webmaster will now become certified by the Universal Internet Commission. The Commission will educate and supervise all webmaster to properly construct website to accept C-Pod acceptance dockers and receivers. All webmasters will also receive ratings for their ability to properly manage their website according to Universal Internet Laws. Website star ratings will consist of a 1000 star program, 1000 being the best rating. Here again, credibility will reign supreme. Search engines and keywords will become a thing of the past. A web site's star rating will determine the best data available for the request by the user. Relevance will only be compared to the user's PIC's (personal identifier coder). Relevance will not have any reflections on keywords, for they have now become useless. The credibility and reliability will be the main focus of each and every website, thus promoting their website's star ratings. Websites will become respected as an authoritarian of information and data that will be supplied to the utmost quality. Relevance will also reside within every website and be constantly updated to serve demanding user cravings for cutting edge knowledge. Visitors to each website will also be able to cast votes on the overall credibility and relevance of the site that have visited. These votes will become paramount. These votes will add credibility to the website's Star ratings. The Universal Internet Commission (UIC) will not allow any website to transmit without acceptable Star rating certification. Start-up sites will have to participate in an apprentice type program, and will be rated either as commercial or professional use after certification. The apprentice duration will allow upstart website's to accumulate stars in a given period of time set forth by the commission. If the upstart website can not reach a minimum rating of 400 stars, the site will be given two more chances to qualify. If the site fails to qualify after three attempts, the site can only receive a rating of personal usage, and will not be able to transmit commercial business data. Personal use website's will have a much lower rating of only 100 stars. Qualifying will also be much easier. Personal website ratings will be limited to a non-business application. Data can be transferred and received, but not for the use of any type of business means. Qualifying Commercial websites will receive UIC certification along with PAQ Dockers. These Dockers are encrypted to recieve all inbound PAQ's. Without a PAQ Docker, a website will not be able to receive any inbound air packets. The Internet has now become the ultimate experience. The super-masterminds of the Internet world have pulled all the tricks out of their bags. They have provided us with the Roller coaster ride we have all been waiting for. New developments in technology, credibility, and superior relevance to data have reached extreme levels of fulfillment for all. These turns in events will become a new page in the history books of forward thinking. There will be new hero's to admire for their perseverance to foresee the future with their just get it done attitudes. To close my journey to the year 2037, I've selected a new headline for my next newsletter; - Forget the new I-Pod with 200mb of storage, Just move your calendar to the year 2037 and log-on to the Ultimate Experience of the World Wide Web.

Are you like me and you're beginning to see that creating income online through internet marketing is a golden opportunity? Something that we're at the forefront of, as it will just continue to grow as more and more people come online. And are you seeing that information is endless, and that people already consume huge amounts of information in the form of newspapers, magazines, books, professional journals, business journals, and on. People will never stop wanting information and if you can create information products (which is actually fairly easy to do once you learn how) to satisfy their information hunger in new ways, they will gladly pay you for it.
One of the most fruitful areas of internet marketing is found in niche marketing. This is where it really gets fun! There are endless niches and as you begin doing some research, you'll see what I mean.
There are many aspects to creating a successful online business, of which good ideas are just one; but please don't underestimate the power of having lots of good ideas that you can get excited about.
There are several great ways to generate a rich flow of ideas for niche marketing. One of the most important things to do is to keep an idea journal. A simple notebook will do. Keep it handy to jot down your ideas as they occur to you. Of course you can also use your computer, or anything that works for you. Just be sure to have something handy so you don't miss any of your ideas. Your ideas may seem at first to just trickle in, but as you make some of the following idea generators habit, you'll be opening the flow.
You can generate ideas from time spent both online and off, and you'll want to do both to be most effective.
To stimulate ideas away from your computer, heighten your everyday awareness as you go about your life. Pay attention to advertisements you encounter. Who are they selling to? What are they selling? What angles are they using to sell it?
Another excellent thing to do is spend some time studying the magazine racks at a big bookstore like Borders or Barnes & Noble. Or at the grocery store or library. Generally, the larger the selection the more ideas you can come away with. Look for 3 or 4 magazines on the same subject. If you've found 3 or 4 on the same subject, you are now aware of a trend. Read the magazines, look at the ads. You can see who the audience is and what they're interested in. You can see what is being advertized to them. Keep looking for trends of information wherever you are looking.
As for online research, there are many resources available. There are information product banks where they have articles, reports, and e-books available for resale. Browsing for an hour or so will give you lots of great ideas about what is selling well. Once again, look for trends. Clickbank.com is a great place to start. There's also a great site that, in effect, makes Clickbank searchable at cbmall.com. Look at categories you have an interest in. Look at best-selling categories. Look for ways you could combine information into a new product of your own. Look for missing information that you could provide.
Also spend some time on Amazon.com, browsing their best-seller lists, seeing what's selling most in subjects of interest to you.
Another excellent resource available to you are online discussion groups. Many such groups exist and you can usually join them for free. Lots of times in these groups there are people with problems they're trying to solve. Listen in and see if you can come up with something to help them solve their problem.
You can also find great ideas by going to web directories. These are like phone books or catalogs of the web. My favorite so far is dmoz.com which is catalogued by humans and kept up to date. No dead links or stale web pages! Spend some time browsing here.
Once you get some ideas going from the outside in, you'll begin to get more ideas from the inside out as well. Keep that notebook handy!
These are some of the ideas and resources I've been utilizing lately. I hope you find them as helpful as I have. Let's tap the abundance of this unique marketplace!
Wishing you abundance in all matters,
Carrie McLain

There are lots of websites out there that do little to encourage their customers to stick around or buy their products from them. In this article i'm going to show you a typical example of where a small company has gone wrong with its website.
Company X is a small family run roofing company. They repair, install and insulate roofs. They spend a lot of time and money advertising in the press and exhibiting at consumer shows and events to attract new customers. They are visibly committed to their customers and their needs. They do it well and reap the rewards. They are succeeding offline.
A potential customer sees them at a show they are exhibiting at. She has a brief but informative conversation about her roof with a company representative and takes away some literature to read. She leaves with a highly positive impression of the company and its employees. When she reads the literature she notices that the company has a web site and visits it. Their site looks professional. She looks deeper into the site by clicking a few links.
It only takes a few clicks for her to realise that the website is very thin on content. There's little text and the text that is present is incredibly dull and uninformative. The site looks exactly like the brochure she took away. In fact, thats exactly what the web site is - the brochure online.
The site has a few basic features: you can contact the company, request a quote visit or get their phone number. There's little else of any interest for potential customers. So would she stay and buy from the company? Probably not. At this point she either has to contact the company by phone to get more information or go somewhere else. She's been abandoned by a company that has clearly made little provision for her visit. At best its a dull visit. She doesnt think very highly of the company now.
What went wrong? Why did the company, which made such a positive impression offline, make such a poor impression online?
Has the company put much effort into the site? No.
Is the web site poorly thought out? Yes.
Is there anything on the site to keep the customer there/interested? No.
Did the web site meet the customers needs? No.
Did the customer have an overall positive impression of the company? No.
Did they lose the customers business? Very likely, yes.
What can the company do to turn their website around and present a positive impression?
Spend some time researching their customers needs and re-focus their site around them.
Visibly apply their offline customer dedication online.
Its critical that their customers perceive some value from visiting their site. Otherwise why would they stay around long enough to even read about their products let alone buy them?
What if they arrived at the web site again? This time the text on the site sounds more interesting and descriptive. The site doesnt look identical to the brochure anymore. There's some real case study examples of how previous customers have benefitted and saved money by using the companies products. How they transformed a cold roof space into a bright and warm usable room, or how they saved a fortune on their heating bill after some roof work was done by the company, etc.
There's also a new quote tool that lets you put in your dimensions and get an immediate quote for the work. There's also a button to get an expert to call you, a tool for seeing what any project work would look like when finished, a reminder tool which tells you when you are due for a roof inspection, ideas for improving your roof space, etc. The list doesnt necessarily stop here. They can add as many features, tools and resources as the customer wants. Starting with the customers most important ones first. On the new site the company also state their dedication to the customer - they make guarantees to respond quickly to any question or comment and help the customer in any way they can at all times.
The customers experience is very different now. She will be happy with her visit and service and have a positive experience of the company. She'll feel the company is very attentive to her needs. Ultimately she'll buy more from the company.
The companies end result is different now too. They'll have more happy and loyal customers and ultimately therefore more recommendations and sales.
Are you making the same mistakes on your website? What can you do to improve your customers website experience?
Useful tips:
Respond to your users needs.
Adopt a creative approach.
Create some interest around your products.
Make your customer dedication visible.
Good luck!

Newsletter advertising has been getting a bad rap lately. Around every corner you can find someone complaining about how it doesn’t work. But when you ask them if they’ve tried it, most say no. The others who have, had NO idea what they were doing. Today we’re going to talk about exactly what kind of solo ads sell and what factors are important.
Let’s start by going through the process of publishing a solo ad.
Choose a newsletter/ezine to publish in.
Write the solo ad
Write an effective title
Design the website where your visitors will go...
1. Choose a newsletter/ezine
Extremely important. You must do your best to choose the most targeted group possible. You must choose a “good-sized” list. Also, the group must be responsive.
The best searching technique is to go to the websites in your niche market that are popular and find the links that say “advertising” or “advertise with us.”
It’s normally quite self-explanatory from there...
I personally recommend going for no newsletter with less than 5,000 members – unless they are extremely targeted and very responsive.
To determine how responsive a group is – ALWAYS ask or look for testimonials from others who have advertised before. If the publisher is unwilling to provide these – don’t waste your time promoting there.
2. Write the Solo Ad
One word – story. That’s the BEST way to sell someone something – tell them a story. Most people are so skeptical now every time they receive an e-mail that the only real way to warm up to them is to tell them a story.
Start talking about how you went from a “nothing” to having this great success. Or, how you went from not knowing anything about “such and such” to now becoming an expert.
The next tip is to give them a “feeling” of what they are about to learn – *start* to teach them about the topic and then say “O...to learn the rest, click here.”
I’ve learned that the best solo ad never sells a thing, it only pre-sells and warms up to the reader. I guess this is where the theory of “Pre-Sell” prevails.
3. Write an Effective Title
Quite possibly the MOST important part of your entire campaign. Don’t underestimate the readers of the ezine. They *know* when the regular issue comes and when the solo ads come. They’re already skeptical. If you want to catch their eye, you better have a title that really appeals to them.
Here are some good title tips:
Use Numbers - ex/ How to Get 2000+ Targeted Visitors A Day instead of “How to Get Traffic”
Be Specific – Your title should reveal EXACTLY what you talk about…
Keep It Short – The shorter the title, the more it will be read…
Avoid SPAM words – Don’t use “FREE” “MONEY” – These words are turn-offs now…
If you can write an effective title, you’ve one half the battle already!
4. Design the website where your visitors go...
The BIGGEST mistake (in my opinion) is to simply send the traffic to your main site.
I recommend you set-up a SEPARATE website for THAT particular ezine. Make that visitor feel as if he/she is VIP for coming in from that newsletter.
Greet them with a “Hey! Glad you could make it from “INSERT NAME HERE” to our site!
This makes your site more personal and the visitor feels more comfortable reading your message.
A quick tip for your website:
Always talk about the success YOU had with the program you are selling – tell a story and reveal how well YOU did with it. You will see a HUGE increase in sales.
Once again, people want stories and they want storied about YOU.
If you apply these four factors the “right” way, you’re bound to do extremely well with Solo Ads. Personally, I make thousands a month selling my consulting service using Solo Ads – so, no one can tell me they don’t work.

As you may have noted, there are thousands or even hundreds of thousands of websites selling pharmaceutical products or drugs. These are called ONLINE PHARMACIES or PHARMACIES ONLINE.
Can they be trusted? Are they safe?
Yes, in many cases but only if you are careful and exercise your due diligence: this is all the more necessary since the consequences of cheating with pharmaceutical products can be much more serious than, for example, being conned into buying a useless fiction ebook or piece of sofware.
It can even be literally a matter of life and death.
So, here are the top 10 qualities to look for in an online pharmacy.
Go through the list carefully, use it as a filter for all the online pharmacies you come across, and you'll be covered!
1. ADEQUATE PRODUCT INFORMATION: It should be absolutely honest, say what the product does, what it does not do, side effects, incompatibilities, even... possible after-effects etc..
2. QUALITY: FDA-approved prescription drugs. Storage, Processing, Shipping must be under full compliance with US and FDA Regulations
3/4. SAFETY, SECURITY: If possible it should be accredited by bodies such as the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) - "one of the most stringent and respected accrediting organizations dedicated to continuously improving the safety and quality of care provided to the public".
5. EASE OF USE: Easy ordering process, Fast delivery (Fast FedEx Delivery options, if available), Clear and Easy-to-undertstand Instructions for use.
6. DISCRETION: Discreet packaging - is it really necessary for your closest neighbor to know what was in that nice package you received yesterday :-).
7. PRIVACY AND CONFIDENTIALITY: Free consultation online: Like many people, you probably find the anonymity of an online medical consultation rather more pleasant than what could be an embarrassing conversation with your personal physician and his/her office staff.
You complete an online medical questionnaire which is thoroughly reviewed by a licensed physician, and if found suitable for treatment, the prescription will be dispensed and shipped by a licensed pharmacy.
If the consulting physician has any questions or concerns regarding your medical history or needs more information, he or she should contact you by email or by phone.
8. PRICE: Discounted, as much as possible, provided low prices does not mean low quality!
9. INTERNATIONAL ORDERS, if you do not live in the US. This should not be overlooked: Some online pharmacies only sell to customers in the US and Canada. And in some cases, they only tell you AFTER you've gone through almost the whole of the ordering process. This can be quite frustrating.
10. GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE, including a toll free number for US residents and another number for international customers.
To be on the safe (and pleasant) side, always look for these top 10 qualities in an online pharmacy.

All our life, we have been taught by our parents, friends, and the media the same thing. Go to school. Get good grades so that you can get into the best colleges or universities around. If you follow that then you can get a ‘good’ job. You will be set for life.
Not really true….
With Job cuts, corporate restructuring, and layoffs still being reported in the news almost every single day, it is not surprising that this concept of life isn't really true any more.
A lot of people are now looking to start their own business so that they can have more financial security, more freedom, more choices, and more time to be with their family.
As the economy continues to plummet and layoffs and bankruptcies fill the news, isn't it your time to take the bull by the horns and secure your and your family's financial future?
Here are 6 steps that you need to follow in order for you to be a successful network marketer:
1. You got to have patience.
They don’t say 2-5 years for nothing. Many new people who do get involved in network marketing think that they will make a nice comfortable full time income in just a few months. Very few do that, but it will take you some time. So make sure that you give your business at least 2 years to succeed. If you don't, you are on the right track to FAILURE.
2. They have the persistence of a bulldog.
The lack of persistence and consistency is one of the major causes of failure. Many people are good "starters" but very poor "finishers" of everything they start. They tend to give up at the first sign of defeat. Successful network marketers know that it is important to be persistent and consistent even though they work hard and don’t see any results for a while.
3. They set goals.
Athletes, successful business-people, lawyers, doctors, and great achievers in all fields use goal setting. Statistics show people who write down their goals have over an 80% higher success rate of achieving them.
4. They set short-term goals.
Short-term goals are usually simpler and easier than long-term goals.
Why? Well, writing them can help you have more frequent victories, and building momentum with each one you complete. If you do that, you can have more excitement and more motivation as you reach those goals on time. When you do reach you short-term goals, don't forget to reward yourself and celebrate.
5. They write down their WHY.
Why did they really get into network marketing for? What made them start their own business? Is it because they wanted to be their own boss? Is it because they wanted more freedom and time to spend with their family? More money? What ever their WHY is, they always know it so that it keeps them going when things are not going well for them.
6. They replace their negative self-talk.
They know that they are the creator of their thoughts and beliefs. Successful network marketers know how to replace negative self-talk and change it to positive self-talk. People, especially friends and family, try to brain wash them along the way. They tell them that they will not succeed. They laugh at them. They tease them that it won't work. But they don’t listen. They work their business and make it work. At the end they become so successful that family and friend evantually join them too.
Here are some more insider secrets to how the average person like you and me make it big in network marketing:
*They market daily. In other words, they contact more people and they advertise more on a daily basis. They don't do this once a week or once a month. They work their business everyday.
*They believe that they will succeed, without a shadow of a doubt.
*They read motivational books on a daily basis.
*They train their first level downline members to duplicate their efforts. They show them how to use the products. They show them how to advertise. They show them what books to read and what tapes to listen to.
*They listen and learn from others, especially from their upline.
*They follow up on their leads at least six times. Don’t forget, the fortune is in the follow up.
*They are willing to step out of their comfort zone. Many people don’t like to step out of their comfort zone and that is why they never succeed in network marketing.
*A successful network marketer is no MLM junkie. An MLM junkie is someone who jumps from one network marketing company to another. These people never make it in network marketing.
The clock is ticking. Get into network marketing now and stick with it no matter what so that your future and the future of those you love is more secured.

This is a great way for companies to expand their sales force and market share. Nowadays, with the Internet making the world your global marketplace, making money online through affiliate programs is more feasible than ever.
Hundreds of thousands of firms have launched affiliate programs that have continued to be a great success. Big names you know such as Ebay, Amazon, and Google have affiliate programs where it's possible for an individual to make a good amount of money online through their affiliate programs.
If you're not sure how to begin the process of making money online through an affiliate program, here is a brief outline to get you started.
First, find a company with a product or service you'd like to represent. Normally you will sign up at the company's website. If they don't manage their own affiliate programs you might be registering at an affiliate management site such as Commission Junction or ClickBank. You will be given your own unique i.d. as an affiliate of the company to sell its products online through its affiliate program.
Then, set up a blog or your own website and advertise your product with a link to the company's site that includes your affiliate i.d. so you can be given credit for each sale. When people hit your blog or website, they will see the advertisement for the product or service you're representing and when they click the link to go to the company website, you will be given credit if they buy the product or service. You probably won't have a problem finding products to sell in an online affiliate marketing program to make money. There are numerous products in categories such as art, automotive products, cards, computers, credit cards and finance, gambling and adult venues, home businesses, magazines, matchmaking sites, web hosting services and so much more. It's just a matter of deciding what you feel has mass public appeal and what type of products or services you'd be comfortable representing.
There are two key points to being a successful affiliate and making money online through affiliate programs. Number one, you must market yourself. The previously mentioned blog is an excellent way to market your affiliate program and make money online. With a blog you can write personal, newsy messages and you can go a step further and keyword enhance them to give your page more relevance in search engine return results. It's a great way to "soft sell" the public on your affiliate program items. If you don't want to use a blog, set up a website. Don't put a bunch of screaming graphics or huge letters. The most successful affiliate sites are not full of fluffy words and empty promises about products. The successful websites are low-key in design using low graphics and light colors. Another great way to market yourself is to write articles about your service or product you're selling. Use a product review style and post them on any of the free article databases out there with a link back to your site.
The second key point in making money online through affiliate programs is to be organized. You can use your computer and build a spreadsheet, make notes on a pad and keep it in your desk drawer. Whatever works for you so you can keep track of your programs. You just need to be consistent and diligent about keeping records of your clicks and sales to insure that you make money in your affiliate programs.
If people are clicking your links and you're not getting sales. Obviously you need to tweak out the wording for your products. People are turned off by phrases such as "It's the Best" or "You MUST have this product/service". Instead, tell people how they will benefit from the product or service with out using sales fluff and filler words, give them a few uses for it, show them why they should purchase from you, and they will. You in turn, will make money online for simply hosting an affiliate program.
When a sale is made, you will be given credit as long as your affiliate i.d. was associated with the sale. Most affiliate programs let you sign up for free and pay you a percentage of the sale. You don't do any shipping or direct sales. Usually, if you market hard and consistently, you stand to make a good deal of money online through affiliate programs. That's the sheer beauty of using online affiliate programs.
Now that you know the potential for making money online with affiliate programs, sign up for some affiliate programs to represent products or services you feel have a mass appeal. It's not too late to get in on one of the fastest and easiest moneymaking opportunities you can find to make money online

Google Ads Free is all about how you get others to pay you money to cover your own pay-for-click traffic generators. This is about how you accomplish this seemingly impossible task. First you obtain as many keywords as possible and bid them high enough to be at the top of the front page. This will generate a lot of traffic to click on your article. This traffic will then see your ads (along with your article on a niche product connected to your keywords) offering your traffic to advertise their product on your site. HIGH VOLUME TRAFFIC Because your high volume traffic is achieving the most coveted positions (at the top of the page), advertisers will want to advertise on your site, thereby paying your costs for achieving the top of the page position, and even making a large profit on those ads. You can then go on to do this with niche after niche, never actually needing to even sell any product of your own if you don't want to, just sell the advertising on your site related to the niche. USE YOUR OWN AFFILIATE ADS TO START THE PROCESS You can make your site appear to already have numerous ad banners on it by becoming an affiliate for numerous related niche products, and placing their banners on your site. When someone clicks on one of your affiliate banners there is the possibility someone might actually order and you receive an affiliate commission. But your purpose is to make your site look like others are already advertising on it. Then you can promote selling ads for the remaining unused space, gradually eliminating your own affiliate ads to replace them with actual paid advertising. NEWSLETTER AUTO RESPONDER INCREASES SALES This is an amazing additional process to expand your conversion. If you have 1 out of 100 people visiting your site converting to a sale, you can increase this dramatically with 12 newsletters. You set your auto responder to send out the first newsletter the same day someone signs up for the free newsletter. You then send the remaining 11 newsletter every day for 11 more days. By then, you will have 9 out of 100 buying your product instead of the original 1 out of 100. The actual nuts and bolts of all this is in the e-book Get Google Ads Free. This is actually so simple and yet so far out of the box than no one ever thinks of this on their own. Copyright (c) 2007 Dave Mallegg

The Secret to Success!

I must tell you about a rich man's son at Niagara Falls. He was an indescribable specimen of anthropologic potency. He had a skull-cap on one side of his head, with a gold tassel in the top of it, and a gold-headed cane under his arm with more in it than in his head. It is a very difficult thing to describe that young man. He wore an eye- glass that he could not see through, patent- leather boots that he could not walk in, and pants that he could not sit down in--dressed like a grasshopper. This human cricket came up to the clerk's desk just as I entered, adjusted his unseeing eye-glass, and spake in this wise to the clerk. You see, he thought it was ``Hinglish, you know,'' to lisp. ``Thir, will you have the kindness to supply me with thome papah and enwelophs!'' The hotel clerk measured that man quick, and he pulled the envelopes and paper out of a drawer, threw them across the counter toward the young man, and then turned away to his books. You should have seen that young man when those envelopes came across that counter. He swelled up like a gobbler turkey, adjusted his unseeing eye- glass, and yelled: ``Come right back here. Now thir, will you order a thervant to take that papah and enwelophs to yondah dethk.'' Oh, the poor, miserable, contemptible American monkey! He could not carry paper and envelopes twenty feet. I suppose he could not get his arms down to do it. I have no pity for such travesties upon human nature. If you have not capital I am glad of it. What you need is common sense, not copper cents.
The best thing I can do is to illustrate by actual facts well-known to you all. A. T. Stewart, a poor boy in New York, had $1.50 to begin life on. He lost 87 cents of that on the very first venture. How fortunate that young man who loses the first time he gambles. That boy said, ``I will never gamble again in business,'' and he never did. How came he to lose 87 cents? You probably all know the story how he lost it--because he bought some needles, threads, and buttons to sell which people did not want, and had them left on his hands, a dead loss. Said the boy, ``I will not lose any more money in that way.'' Then he went around first to the doors and asked the people what they did want. Then when he had found out what they wanted he invested his 62 cents to supply a known demand. Study it wherever you choose--in business, in your profession, in your housekeeping, whatever your life, that one thing is the secret of success. You must first know the demand. You must first know what people need, and then invest yourself where you are most needed. A. T. Stewart went on that principle until he was worth what amounted afterward to forty millions of dollars, owning the very store in which Mr. Wanamaker carries on his great work in New York. His fortune was made by his losing something, which taught him the great lesson that he must only invest himself or his money in something that people need. When will you salesmen learn it? When will you manufacturers learn that you must know the changing needs of humanity if you would succeed in life? Apply yourselves, as manufacturers or merchants or workmen to supply that human need. It is a great principle as broad as humanity.

Everybody is familiar with search engines such as Google & Yahoo. Search Engines have radically changed the Internet. Radically! Over 50% of all consumer purchases of all business purchases are now pursued by searches. That’s what was said months ago and it is obviously going higher. So the majority of people Worldwide who now are on computers, the first place they go to is a Search Engine to find information, for what they are looking for. The Search Engine technology is now based and what Search Engine is trying to do as they are trying to put out in front of their searchers, the most current relative information possible. Google knows that what it can give you is exactly what you want to see and it’s relative to the current & it’s timely. And you are going to come back to Google over, over and over again. Why all those Bloggers out there for years have been making a lot of money and how they are promoting for free, and how they getting free publicity and generating MASS traffic to their sites? Because Bloggers took advantage of what Google had determined was the secret to the Internet right now. A WEB SITE THAT CHANGES A LOT GETS MORE RATING WITH A SEARCH ENGINE. So if your website is changing a lot and adjusting a lot and is current, Google will push you up on the rating. That means you are getting closer, closer and closer to the first page. And this is extremely important, particularly if you know how to what is called “games the system. What those Bloggers do – they “game the system”. And here is how they game the system: They went out and found the websites that have the absolute most change going on in a web site every single day, every single hour, every single minute, and every single second. They are powerful websites that have constant change, constant upgrading going on every minute of every day. Theses website are called “Article Hubs”. These web sites grow out of the whole change in how Search Engines work because people realized that the more websites change, the more powerful website are in searches, they realized there better be constant change. This is particularly true in Media sites & this is particularly true with Bloggers, because they began to figure out that if they have more constant change on their sites every day their Bloggs will lift on the searches. And I am going to show you one of those hugs sites. It is an extremely powerful site, 5000-7000 writers, authors, reporters & Bloggers place their articles in this site every day. Do you understand that that site is not just visited by tens of thousands of writers and author’s who have submitted articles everyday? Do you realize this site is visited by over a million unique visitors every single day? So these sites, these Article Hubs are incredibly potent. And when you put one article in one of these sites, guess what you start to do? You start to dominate keywords. And if you can get on the first page of any major keyword you have hit a Gold Mine! One article! One keyword! Traffic, traffic, traffic! There is one example “Religion and online marketing”, this article was written two years ago and guess where they are. Do you know when you put a keyword in worldwide there are over 35 millions places on the web that have this constant in here with Religion and Online Marketing? And this article is still having a first result, first page. That was written TWO YEARS AGO! He has been getting traffic every single day for almost 800 days for this article. One Article! One keyword! Traffic, Traffic, Traffic! And if you go page after page, after page you are going to see that article over and over and over … That Company continues to get traffic to this very day. That’s the power of Article Hubs. If you are looking for a home business opportunity please check this site! With this new marketing system, even beginners are successful. http://olga.YOURCHANCE2SUCCESS.COM
